Named after our kids, The Sage Wren is a family-owned pyrography and woodworking business located in Burlington, Wisconsin. We started making woodworking projects and burning artwork on them as stress-relieving hobbies during the COVID pandemic. As the pandemic dragged on, we honed our skills and decided to turn these hobbies into a business.

All items are burned by hand to create decorative pieces inspired by nature. Many of these items are also handcrafted at home using locally sourced repurposed urban lumber. Our goal is to provide customers with high quality pieces that are both beautiful and functional.

As a husband and wife team, we strive to teach our kids the importance of creativity and hard work, even if it leaves us covered in sawdust and smelling like wood smoke most of the time. Every item at The Sage Wren is made with love and we appreciate being able to share our passion for woodworking and pyrography with our customers.
